Royal College of Surgeons powers up with Atypon

Atypon, which provides software to the scientific and scholarly publishing industry, has announced that Royal College of Surgeons of England has signed an agreement to use Literatum to power its online journals. The Literatum platform will manage their online journal content and provide more valuable features to librarians and readers.

Neil Mortenson, chair of the Journals Committee and Trustee of The Royal College of Surgeons of England said: ‘Atypon, through Literatum, have given us the opportunity to diversify and innovate …The opportunities created by their platform are significant and exciting and we look forward to working with them on this project.’

Jonathan Hevenstone, senior VP of business development at Atypon said of the collaboration ‘We are excited to have the Royal College of Surgeons choose Literatum as their hosting platform, and we are looking forward to supporting them in achieving their future vision.’
