GSE Research receives new investment

Sustainability, social responsibility and environmental management publisher GSE Research has received new funding and signed two new directors to its board.

The investment comes from the UK-based Finance Yorkshire fund. GSE has also recruited Rebecca Marsh, former publishing director with Emerald Group Publishing and Edward Milford, who was chairman of Earthscan Publishing, to its Board of Directors.

GSE CEO John Peters, said: 'We are grateful for Finance Yorkshire’s continuing support for our fledgling business. This additional investment will allow the company to reach further into overseas markets and bring quality research and ideas in this vitally important area to a wider readership. It represents a real mark of faith in the company’s management team and recognition of our success to date in securing such a breadth of globally significant partners.'
