Partners join Innovative's Encore development

Innovative Interfaces has signed up four new development partners for its Encore platform.

The new partners are Wright State University, the Jefferson County Public Library and Miami University in the USA and the University of Western Ontario in Canada. Encore is a new library services platform that is said to unite content, community and discovery. It now has more than 18 development partners.

Encore development is currently focused on features such as faceted search results, tag cloud display, federated-search integration, and representing items of particular interest related to a search. The role of the ‘second wave’ development partner is to react to and refine the current features being developed and work with the rest of the team to identify candidate features and functionality for subsequent release phases.
