Information Today is calling for the submission of ideas for this year’s Internet Librarian International (ILI) – the library innovation conference.

ILI, which will be held on 17 and 18 October at London's Olympia Conference Centre, attracts hundreds of library and information professionals from around the world to exchange ideas, knowledge and experience.

Organisers are seeking fresh new case studies, great stories, personal experiences and lessons learned from the ideas, strategies and practical implementations information professionals have put in place to make a difference to their organisations, clients and communities.

Suggested topics include: the post-factual world; tech trends; content initiatives; developing audiences; information in society; search and research tips; and the changing roles of information professionals.

The conference's keynote speaker will be former ABC News Director and now CEO of Australia’s State Library of Victoria, Kate Torney, whose presentation will celebrate the quiet revolution within libraries and the sector's embrace of disruption – but also suggest the time for modesty is over.
