American Institute of Physics Publishing (AIPP) has selected Cadmore Media to host and stream video and audio assets across their journal portfolio and Physics Today. Included in the project is the migration of some 7,500 media assets to the new platform.

“We needed a streaming partner that could not only get us up and running quickly, with the most current technology, but also support and streamline some of our workflows,” said Rich O’Keeffe, Content Management Supervisor at AIPP. “Cadmore impressed the team with their capabilities and expertise.”

Violaine Iglesias, CEO and co-founder of Cadmore, added, “AIPP’s global reach and impact within the physical science community is far-ranging and significant. We are delighted to partner with them to provide their readers engaging with streaming media the highest quality user experience possible.”

The Cadmore Platform serves as a central repository for loading, tagging, enriching, segmenting, and embedding video and audio assets. The configurable, brandable Media Player exceeds all existing accessibility guidelines, is fully responsive, detects local bandwidth and responds appropriately, and can be embedded virtually anywhere.

Cadmore anticipates having the player embedded on the AIPP site and content migrated by the end of the year.
