Surgical Case Reports

Surgical Case Reports is now being published by SpringerOpen and it will soon be joined by JA Clinical Reports and IPSJ Transactions on Computer Vision and Applications.

The addition of these journals to the portfolio adds to the growing number of Japanese society open access journals published by SpringerOpen in fields such as clinical medicine, life sciences and computer science.
 
Surgical Case Reports is an official journal of the Japan Surgical Society. Hideo Baba from Kumamoto University, Japan, acts as editor-in-chief for the journal.  

The journal aims to contribute to the progress of surgery by providing clinicians and researchers with an educational forum in which to disseminate their personal experiences and novel treatments to a wide readership. This will be done through the publication of interesting and rare cases encountered by colleagues all over the world.
