Elsevier has partnered with SOAPware, a provider of electronic medical records software. The partnership will allow Elsevier’s iCONSULT clinical decision support content to be offered as a Clinical Knowledge Module to SOAPware v5 (liger) EHR users.

For the physician, the Clinical Knowledge Module will include two components. The first, integrated evidence-based point of care content, powered by FIRST Consult, is said to be continuously updated to offer information on evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of a variety of disease categories to generate specific clinical decision support with the physician’s workflow. The second component is the integrated medical referential content, powered by MD Consult, which is said to allow users to seamlessly search and access clinical information.
