Hindawi Publishing Corporation has added two new members to its London-based management group; Richard Bennett as commercial director and Craig Raybould as chief process engineer.

Over the last year Hindawi has made significant investment into its London operations as well as its senior management and production capabilities.

Bennett joins Hindawi from Digital Science, where he led the development and implementation of the institutional commercial strategy for a number of technology start-ups focused in the research area.  He also has an extensive scholarly publishing background, with 18 years’ senior level experience in commercial positions across the industry including Mendeley, Wolters Kluwer, Springer and Elsevier.

Raybould joins Hindawi from BioMed Central, where he was head of production, leading the development and refinement of the OA production process to vastly reduce publication times. He has 15 years of experience in scholarly publishing in various editorial, production and product management roles at both BioMed Central and the BMJ Group.

Paul Peters, chief executive officer of Hindawi Publishing Corporation said: 'We are very pleased to welcome Craig and Richard to the team here in London. The expertise and the experience that these two senior level additions bring to Hindawi will certainly be of great benefit and support as we enter the next phase of growth for the company.'
