CUP acquires JGH from LSE

Cambridge University Press has acquired the Journal of Global History (JGH) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). 

The journal was launched through a partnership between CUP and LSE in 2005, in response to a growing intellectual search for an approach to the history of global change that was not limited by traditional geographic, thematic or disciplinary boundaries. 

Nowadays the journal now sits at the centre of arguably the most vibrant field of current historical enquiry, esteemed for both the rigour of its peer-review and the high quality of its articles. It is currently ranked 6th by Impact Factor in the history category of the JCR and 8th in history by Google Scholar.   

It will continue to be managed by the same editorial team, led by Prof. William Gervase Clarence-Smith, of SOAS, University of London. Print and online subscription arrangements through Cambridge University Press will continue unchanged.
