De Gruyter and Tsinghua University Press extend partnership

De Gruyter of Berlin, Germany, and Tsinghua University Press, of Beijing, China, have signed an agreement to deepen their existing partnership. The agreement expands cooperation on the fields of biomedical technology, nanoscience and technology, signal processing as well as chemistry and process engineering.

'I am pleased that we can further develop our partnership with the press of China’s most prestigious university,' said Sven Fund, De Gruyter’s managing director. 'We have chosen fields of mutual interest as well as high research activity to focus on during the next years.'

'Tsinghua University Press is pleased to work with De Gruyter, which has recently become a hub for cooperation with leading university presses in the world, such as those of Harvard, Princeton and Pennsylvania,' addd Zong Junfeng, President of Tsinghua University Press.
